the hula hoop's circles
go around in circles
centering on mySelf.
or is it mySelf?
is it all contained in the sphere
of the looping
perfection- is it even perfect?- in circles
that form the Whole Notes
of mySelf's song.
is it just a dream? it seems
so much more, and yet- how can Whole
notes be all there is? mySelf
seems split,
put on a leash,
halved and quartered,
but it is the movement of the leashed
that sets me free.
even so, i would hope
after mySelf's composing,
it would end on a
Whole Note
